Barzani Charity Foundation has been officially invited to participate in the BBF conference in Germany, where it will discuss the humanitarian situation in the Kurdistan Region.
The 2024 BBF Business Forum was held in Friedrichshafen, Germany on 22/10/2024. 700 political, administrative and government figures and a number of parliamentarians attended the conference, which included 14 platforms. Barzani Charity Foundation was one of the participants in the conference, which was officially invited to the conference.
Mr. Musa Ahmad, President of Barzani Charity Foundation, was assigned a panel, in which he discussed the humanitarian situation in the Kurdistan Region in detail. In an interview with Kurdistan TV (at the venue of the conference), he said that “a credibility has been established between the two sides (BBF and BCF), their assistance to Kurdistan, especially for refugees have been discussed in detail, he added that there are about 1.5 million refugees living in the Kurdistan Region and if it was not for Kurdistan, the influx of these people to European countries would be much higher and the number of refugees is likely to increase due to the situation in the region.
The delegation of Barzani Charity Foundation was led by Mr. Musa Ahmad, President of Barzani Charity Foundation and accompanied by Mr. Awat Mustafa, Representative of Barzani Charity Foundation in Europe, Karzan Nuri, Member of the Executive Board of Barzani Charity Foundation Stav Aso, Director of Barzani Charity Foundation’s Erbil Office and Shero Smo, Director of Barzani Charity Foundation’s Sinjar Office visited Germany.
The delegation attended the first stop of their visit on 22/10/2024 at the Bodens Work Forum in Germany.
