A special projects team from the office of Prime Minister His Excellency Masrour Barzani, the President of Kurdistan Regional Government, visited the Presidency of Barzani Charity Foundation in Erbil on Sunday 9\3\2025 to voluntarily participate in the cleaning campaign and preparing food baskets for the poor during the holy month of Ramadan.
As a tradition, on Sundays every week, all the foundation’s employees in all offices and representations inside and outside the region implement a comprehensive environmental cleaning campaign. This Sunday, the special projects team in the prime minister’s office volunteered to participate in the campaign.
Later on, in a ceremony that was held at the Presidency of Barzani Charity Foundation, Musa Ahmad, President of Barzani Charity Foundation, delivered a speech and pointed out the role and activities of the foundation during the holy month of Ramadan. In another section, while congratulating the women of Kurdistan and the world on the occasion of International Women’s Day (March 8), flowers were presented to the women who were present in the ceremony.
Afterwards, a video of the projects of Barzani Charity Foundation in the past 19 years in the country and abroad was shown and the applause of the audience ended the ceremony in the hall. As the last plan of the day’s activities, both teams participated in preparing food baskets for distribution during the holy month of Ramadan.
