Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) is organizing the 12th Human Development Camp for its employees

To develop work capacity and professional development and talents, Barzani Charity Foundation annually opens a camp for human development and dozens of people participate in it. The 12th Human Development Camp was held for several employees of Barzani Charity Foundation.
Barzani Charity Foundation opens several human development camps annually. in this context on Saturday 3/5/2025, the twelfth human development camp opened in Avdalan village in the Barzan region. On the first day of the camp, a first aid course was conducted in theory and practice.
The purpose of the camps is to develop and strengthen the participants’ knowledge in all fields, particularly in crisis management, teamwork, and various seminars on human development will be offered.
Abdulwahid Amin, a member of the board of directors of the Barzani Charity Foundation and director of the 12th human development camp, said that 61 employees of the Barzani Charity Foundation participated in the camp, which came from different cities and regions of Kurdistan to participate in this camp.
According to the camp director, the camp lasted for six days. Regarding the purpose of opening the camp, he said: “There are two main purposes behind the camp. The first is to introduce the employees of the Barzani Charity Foundation to the philosophy and path of the immortal Barzani, such as coexistence, mutual acceptance, environmental protection and humanity. And the chose Barzani region to visit the Barzani National Memorial, the Anfal Monument, Bedyal Village, Shanadar Cave and several historical sites to see that the people of the area have chosen to live together and accept each other, respect each other, be humane and protect the environment. The second objective of the 12th human development camp is to get to know each other better and become a platform for exchanging ideas, accepting each other and working with each other, because there are Muslims, Yazidies and Christians among the employees.”
He added that during the six days, several different lessons and various activities have been conducted, all of which have significant benefits in improving the employees and developing their culture and give them more ability and increase their self-confidence.
On 4/5/2025, Dr. Renas Jano presented a seminar entitled “Philosophy of Human Work”. The seminar focused on the beginning of humanitarian work in human history and the relationship between justice and charity, stressing that the philosophy of charity is to provide justice in society. At the end, he gave a detailed philosophical analysis of the concepts and words of the Barzani Charity Foundation, he said: “Everyone should work with pride under that name, because it includes all these concepts (piety, patriotism and humanity).
On the same day, Dr. Fazel Jaff presented a seminar entitled “Body Language at Work”. The seminar focused on the body and its effects on the performance of different professions such as teaching, treatment and charity work, and explained that the first understanding of human personality is reImmortald to the body, so there should be no contradiction between body style and speech.
In the continuation of the workshops and seminars, on 5/5/2025 Dr. Rawsht Rashid, presented a scientific workshop on the causes of anxiety and depression and treatment methods.
On the same day, Dr. Abdul Salam Madani delivered a seminar entitled “Young Leaders” and highlighted the measures that invest in youth and create young leaders and responsible people.
On the fourth day, on 6/5/2025, Dr. Abdulhakim Khasraw presented a seminar entitled “Climate Change and its Impacts on the Work of Organizations”.
On 7/5/2025, the participants of the camp visited the shrine of the martyrs and the monument of Anfal and genocide victims of Barzani. During this visit, several scientific, historical and cultural issues were discussed. On the same day, Barzan Mosque was visited and Rawaj Haji, a member of the Executive Board of Barzani Charity Foundation, presented a historical article on Barzan region, Naqshbandi Tariqat and the word Barzan. He also spoke about the history of Barzan and the word Barzan, which dates back more than a thousand years ago.
Within the framework of these trips, on 5/5/2025 they visited Shanadar Cave and in this trip they discussed the history of Shanadar Cave and the searches conducted there to reach the archaeological site found there.
On 6/5/2025 they visited the village of Bedial in Barzani region, which is a Barzani Christian village and the church has a history of more than 2000 years They have been involved in the notorious Anfal campaign and have made sacrifices. The village and its church are considered historical monuments that are living proof of coexistence and mutual acceptance. “If we still have our own church and a prosperous village, it is thanks to the Barzan Sheikhs and President Barzani who have protected us,” said Hana Mikhail, the village headman.
On 8/5/2025 Vala Farid presented a special seminar on “The Crime of Genocide and its Legal Consequences”. The seminar focused on the definition of genocide and the lack of punishment for the crime of genocide in Iraqi law, stressing that the victims of Anfal, chemical attacks and the genocide that the Yezidis suffered, should be compensated and given serious attention.
In the closing ceremony of the camp, Musa Ahmad, the president of Barzani Charity Foundation, spoke about Barzani’s philosophy, thoughts and beliefs, the sacrificial history of Kurds, the characteristics of the immortal Barzani and the revolutions he fought for. He led them to reject oppression, assimilation and erasure of the name of Kurdistan and Kurdistanis and sacrificed his entire life for it.
The president of the Barzani Charity Foundation stressed that the Barzani creed is full of belief in service, coexistence and patriotism Wherever he was, his belief in serving, holding hands and helping the victims was at its peak.”
He stressed that the Barzani Charity Foundation is an international organization and without imitating any international organization, by adhering to the Barzani doctrine and learning from him as he has served the people under the guidance of President Barzani, who is the heir to the path of the immortal Barzani. “The greatest pride of the Barzani Charity Foundation has been to serve the victims.
At the end of his speech, the President of Barzani Charity Foundation, praised the work and activities of the managers and participants of the camp and expressed his happiness about the attention to the position of women and the increase in their participation in the camp and expressed the joints of governmental and non-governmental work in the Kurdistan Region. He considered the increase in the number of women participants in the field of humanitarian assistance, especially in the human development camp, as a positive step in the field of ensuring women’s rights and human development.
The final part of the camp was the distribution of certificates to the participants.
In 2018, Barzani Charity Foundation opened its first human development camp and several employees of Barzani Charity Foundation participated in it. The opening of such camps continues and is managed according to international standards.
